Proper Glasses Care
Once you’ve found the perfect pair of eyeglasses, you want to be sure to give them the proper glasses care they deserve. At August Optical, we want everyone to be able to see everything as best as possible, and our advice for glasses care can help your glasses stay in the best shape possible.
Care Techniques:
- If you’re not wearing your glasses, keep them in your case. It may be easier to set your glasses down somewhere when you take them off, but by putting them in your case, you reduce any risk of them being bent or broken.
- Do not use any paper products on your lenses when trying to wipe them off. When you use paper products, like paper tower, the fibers in the paper have a chance of scratching and damaging your lenses. Using wipes or a cloth designated for cleaning your lenses is the best method you can use.
